The
Advertising Industry Emergency Fund has been established to raise
funds and provide financial aid in times of need to members of the
Western Oregon advertising and communications industry and their families.
Individuals seeking aid must have been employed in a related advertising and communications field or segment of the advertising and communications industry as approved by the Executive Board for a continuous period of one year and must be presently employed. If they are not so employed, the period for which they have been out of the advertising industry as defined above shall not be for more than one year prior to their application for aid. The board of directors may approve aid in special cases not falling within the definition included above. Contributing to AIEF is not a prerequisite for eligibility to receive aid from the Advertising Industry Emergency Fund. The fund provides aid to those in current need of financial assistance due to incapacitation, (medical bills, prescriptions, nursing care, housing, utilities, child care, etc.) and not for the purpose of educational financing in any form. All requests for aid are confidential and the recipient shall remain anonymous, unless he or she wishes to be known. AIEF does not grant aid in the form of cash to individuals; AIEF pays all bills directly to the payee. If you have any questions regarding eligibility, please contact AIEF. |
